Ana Herrera is a Spanish-born, London-based artist who signs her work as Ana of All Trades, a name that reflects her creative nature and curiosity for exploring diverse mediums. With a special interest in textiles, she has spent the past year developing a distinctive style through hand-tufted wall art.

Ana is drawn to the way wool interacts with a fabric canvas—its soft textures, simple shapes, and rich colours lending themselves to an aesthetic that celebrates the quiet pleasures of everyday life. Her work often captures small yet vivid moments: the shade of a leaf when sunlight filters through a window, the joy of a perfectly shaped egg on a weekday morning, the lingering memory of tasting a dish abroad for the first time, or the familiar comfort of foods and rituals that remind her of her home country, Spain.

Experimenting with the varied loops and textures that punch needle allows, Ana creates tactile pieces that invite touch as much as they invite contemplation. Currently studying Interior Design at the British Academy of Interior Design, she brings a refined sense of colour and composition to her practice, crafting palettes that harmonise with the emotions and memories each piece evokes.

From the stretched canvas to the finished frame, Ana builds every element of her work by hand, giving her complete control over form and finish, and allowing playful combinations of structure, texture, and colour.
